About

Welcome to my blog.

My name is Tommy and during the day I work as a System Administrator. On this blog, I plan to document my daily experiences in the world of IT infrastructure, systems, and troubleshooting. The idea behind this blog is simple: share knowledge that might save someone else time, frustration, or a long night in front of a monitor.

In my day-to-day work I deal with a wide range of challenges — from common configuration issues and unexpected system failures to performance tuning, automation, and infrastructure maintenance. Many of these problems are not unique, and chances are that someone else has already faced the same situation. This blog is my way of sharing the solutions, lessons learned, and practical approaches that helped me along the way.

Here you will find posts about:

  • Troubleshooting common system administration problems
  • Practical solutions and step-by-step fixes
  • Notes and reminders for useful commands or configurations
  • Automation ideas and scripts
  • Stories and situations from everyday sysadmin life

This blog also serves as a personal knowledge base — a place where I can document things I might need again in the future.

If something here helps you solve a problem faster or understand a system a little better, then the blog has done its job.

Thanks for reading.
